Comparison of Table Bearing Capacity for Different Types of Foundation Soils / Rocks

چکیده

The aim of the publication was to compare suitability foundation soils on basis table (standard empirical) bearing capacity. Four basic groups were compared, which are fine-grained soils, sandy gravelly and rocky soils. scientific motivation for this comparison is that visualizing difference between unsuitability a particular soil / rock one fundamental problems in engineering geology. Quantifying differences very important understanding significance different geological settings. Of all classes evaluated, R1 group with simple compressive strength greater than 150 MPa discontinuity distance 600 mm achieves highest capacity 8 000 kPa.
